If you enjoy beautifully crafted things there are both shops and working shops with decorative art in Guldborgsund County.

Nykøbing F has several inspiring boutiques where one idea for gifts after the other show how beautiful our everyday things may be.

The workshops and exhibitions you have to go to e.g. the Marielyst area and a little further south to find:

Visit e.g. a working glasshouse at the old post mill in Stovby next to Væggerløse. Here they create among other things wineglasses, pitchers, and vases of their own design.

In Gedser you will find an old merchant’s house now a centre of Decorative Art – partly with a pottery, partly with exhibitions from many different craftsmen of e.g watercolours, wooden sculptures, wrought iron, wickerwork, felt, knitwear, children’s clothes, and jewelry.
