You will find a lot of great cultural offers in Guldborgsund.

The old historic manor house “Fuglsang” offers you classical chamber music, and you can spend the night there in exciting surroundings. The garden and the moat are also worth visiting.

Nykøbing F. Revyen – the revue-theatre of Nykøbing Falster – is known all over Denmark.
It is still drawing and the success goes on – and still with very fine announcements – it is popular and amusing as never before.

The theatre in Nykøbing Falster is open in the winter as well, where nationwide, professional theatrical performances with well known actors are visiting the theatre.

“Masken” – the mask – is a professional theatre with a famous team of actors and with a very exciting and intellectual repertory.

“Gl Sprøjtehus” – the old Firehouse – is a capable and national amateur theatre with a professional line in their productions.

“Højskolen i Marielyst” – the people’s college in Marielyst - is really a success, which is able to replace concurrently with requirement. The school is newly extended with at beautiful concert hall – with perfect acoustics, and the numbers of participants are rising year by year.

Festugen i Nykøbing Falster – the festival-week in Nykøbing Falster – is already a tradition, which magnetically draw thousands of people in the town, to get some eventual adventures with music, theatre, catchpenny shows, competitions and not least the commercial special offers.

Kulturnatten – the culture night – which takes place the Friday before the autumn holidays – is an event which really attracts people. The shops are open until late in the night with special offers – and the museums and other groups arrange exciting activities.

Kulturfabrikken i Nykøbing Falster – the culture-factory in Nykøbing Falster – is a music house – not only for the young people, but also for elder music pleased listeners. It also houses a skater course where everyone can show off their talents.

Døllefjelde-markedet – the Døllefjelde-market, which is the second largest in Denmark, seriously imagine with its enormous area and huge numbers of visitors. The market contains everything you can imagine - music, commerce, trade, mummery, restaurants, booth stalls and a lot of more. The market is taking place every year in “Store Bededagsferien” (Danish public holiday – falling on the fourth Friday after Easter).
