Creativity and handicraft are some of the more quiet, but really interesting attractions in Guldborgsund County.

There is a certain atmosphere when visiting a working shop and seeing how a craftsman in deep concentration gives form to his or her creations – and spend a lot of care on the materials.

The artists make pottery, graphics, glass, paintings, mosaic, sculptures, clothes, jewelry, handicraft and much more.

Experience e.g. a working glasshouse in Stovby which creates wineglasses, pitchers, and vases of their own design.

Since 1973 a well-attended pottery has been situated in Radbjerg. And further south, in Gedser, you will find an old merchant’s house which has been turned into a centre of handicraft. Here is also a working pottery combined with exhibitions from many different craftsmen of e.g watercolours, wooden sculptures, wrought iron, wickerwork, knitwear, children’s clothes, and jewelry.
